About the role:
The Lead Business Analyst is a key role within the technology leadership team, responsible for the outcomes of the Business Analyst team, not only responsible for managing the Business Analysis capablity in technology but championing the capability across the business.

The critical role combines managerial duties and strategic leadership ensuring the Business Analysts activities align with organisational goals and contribute to the organisations success. Key responsibilities will include:

-Lead, mentor and resource manage a high-performing team of Business Analysts within technology
-Lead by example to build excellence within the business analysis capability; establishing and maintaining frameworks to track traceability, change management, impact assessments and documentation across the project lifecycle,  whilst identifying opportunities for process improvement.
-Establish, challenge and improve ways of working across the Business Analysis Capability within technology
-Facilitate communication and collaboration amongst business units  and technology teams ensuring shared understanding of ways of working
-Lead analysis efforts to generate actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions across the business
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams in technology Including architecture, user experience, development, testing, and delivery management to ensure alignment of requirements

You will be an experienced and passionate Lead Business Analyst who is driven by customer experience, lives and breathes digital and can navigate successfully through complex business challenges to oversee our BA team.

-Proven leadership experience, managing a high performing team.
-Proven experience mentoring and coaching Business Analysts and contributing to the uplift of the Business Analysis Capability.
-Demonstrated technical Business Analysis experience across a range of initiatives, including experience in a digital environment
-Passionate in the Business Analysis craft with experience in leading initiatives and establishing best practices to guide and develop a team of experienced Business Analysts
-Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and technical knowledge of system design
-Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships across the business and influence outcomes
-Proven experience a range of agile delivery methodologies and championing ways of working, with a strong problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering outcomes.
-Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate complex on a range of  complex concepts and strategies to diverse stakeholders in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner, both in writing and orally.
-Curious mind, adaptable to change, and eager to learn.
