This role will see you become a leader, thereby enhancing your capabilities and the reputation of WSP's Mining Infrastructure & Project Delivery team. You will collaborate with talented and diverse professionals working on iconic projects to drive future ready outcomes that will benefit clients and communities.
What you'll do
- Oversee the design management and coordination function across Civil work.
- Manage and deliver technical design documentation across a broad range of mining and infrastructure projects, including industrial area and maintenance facilities, site services materials handling, access roads, rail and other infrastructure to support mining projects.
- Manage design interfaces between civil, structural, mechanical and electrical engineering design teams on projects.
- Engage in business development and client liaison with mining clients.
- Oversee project management across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Support the wider team and other teams within the company nationally when the opportunity presents.
About you
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering;
- Proven industry experience on Australian civil and mining infrastructure engineering projects, ideally in a consulting environment;
- Well versed in effectively delivering multiple, concurrent projects ranging and scale and sector,
- Strong client relationship management and project management skills;
- Capacity to lead, train and mentor junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects;
- Strong leadership, teamwork, interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills;
