Job Title: Lead Carpenter/Concreter

Cast-Tech Group, a leading concrete construction company based in Gnowangerup, Western Australia, is seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter/Concreter to join our dynamic team, to facilitate continued ongoing growth. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise while working on diverse projects across the southern half of WA. This role is ideal if you are a skilled carpenter or concreter who has run their own business, and who is looking to join a growing enterprise as an employee, where you can focus on your craft without the load of running your own business. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and lead onsite concrete construction projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors and other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within deadlines.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Measure, cut, and shape formwork to precise specifications.
• Set up formwork and reinforcing to various requirements
• Pour, screed, and finish concrete for various construction projects.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
• Train and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and expertise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter/Concreter, with proven experience in a lead role.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry and concrete construction techniques.
• Proficient in reading plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to problem solve in onsite scenarios, often in regional and remote locations. 
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel across the southern half of WA as required.
