Form of work As a Lead Contracts Administrator during the commissioning stage of a new mine infrastructure project you will be overseeing: Contract tender and award process: Drafting tender documents to match specific requirements of individual packages in conjunction with other relevant discipline. Issue and receipt of tenders, proposals and associated submissions. Evaluation of submitted tenders including negotiation of contract terms and conditions. Co-ordination of technical evaluation, responses to non-conformances and clarifications. Conducting evaluation / clarification meetings with tenderers. Preparation of tender evaluation reports, short listing recommendations and recommendations for award. Post award administration: Ensuring contractors’ documentation, including insurance, bonds and securities are received in accordance with the contract and are safely stored. Conducting weekly progress meetings with contractors. Monitoring contractors’ performance and approving invoices. Drafting contractual correspondence to contractors. Managing and negotiating variations and claims. Maintaining contract files. Closing out the contract when completion has occurred.
