The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing, energetic team that delivers high quality projects where creativity and passion are valued.
The Lead Designer will lead and execute the design phase of all projects from concept design, planning, compliance, finishes, furnishings to hand over. Leading and working collaboratively with the design team, the Lead Designer will guide and mentor junior members of the team facilitating growth and development.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience within the design/construct industry complimented with a portfolio.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, stakeholders and the team.
- Strong management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, creative vision, and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Strong leadership skills to guide, mentor and direct team.
- Full time position based in North Sydney office.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suite, etc.
- Understanding of building codes, safety standards, and other relevant regulations in the NCC and Australian Standards.
- Conduct site visits and completed accurate inspections.
