Position Summary :

Reporting to the (ROLE TITLE), as the Lead Developer / Digital Producer is responsible for the delivery of high quality technical solutions for all clients and internal projects. As a critical member of our team, providing strong attention to detail and a real passion for delivery, you will develop and deliver solutions for a range of on-line projects and websites. The Lead Developer will lead the development and digital team, including leadership and Mentoring of junior technical staff is expected to help them learn and grow which will ensure best practice results, improved speed and quality.

Key Requirements :

• Minimum of (number to be inserted) years as a developer
• Experience in developing, coding, HTML and building websites
• Experience liaising with clients, and delivering successful projects
• Previous experience in a leadership role is ideal
• Advanced technical computer skills in .NET, PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap and other relevant coding methodologies
• Understanding of HTML web development (front end)
• Exception eye for detail and understanding of competitive trends
• Demonstrated experience through the entire lifestyle of digital development
• Keep up to date with award winning work, trends, techniques & processes, and form own expert opinion and applies learning’s to client work
• Participate in industry events on occasion and proactively communicate learnings to the technical team

Job Responsibility :

• Develop project scope documents, manage the development process to minimize scope creep and ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
• Responsible for defining/planning each task and project for the team and to be aware of all tasks and the wider scope within the project
• Prepare estimates for digital projects
• Develop project plans for project delivery, communicate and track project milestones and monitor progress for all team members against plan in consultation with the Senior Account Manager and Operations Manager
• Predict the time it will take to complete each task and plan to complete within the time allocated
• Maintain excellent quality assurance standards and ensure that all work has been tested and meets the original requirements
• Translation of business specification such as analytical calculations into working code
• Working with founder on all aspects of technical architecture and product management
• Contributing to the ongoing evolution of Development Operations including selection of internal tools, procedures and processes
• Using existing data and knowledge, produce sound and well-considered estimates/quotes for projects, offering alternative solutions when needed
• Monitor the job status and time spend on a job to ensure that all overages are flagged
