Lead Educator

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at Guardian Coromandel Valley on a permanent, full-time basis.

Job Description:
As a Lead Educator, you will play a key role in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs that align with the National Quality Framework and the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of high-quality educational programs that cater to the individual needs and interests of children.
• Mentor and support a team of educators, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
• Collaborate with the Centre Manager and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in reflective practice.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working as a Lead Educator or in a similar leadership role within an early childhood setting.
• Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
