We are currently looking for a Lead Educator to join our established team focussing on respectful care and key Educator engagement on a permanent basis.
To be successful in this role, you will be someone who has the passion and drive to help our children feel safe and secure by encouraging them to express their interests and ideas and enhancing their ideas through the program. You will be required to program on a daily basis so experience in this area is essential. You will be kind, caring and be able to guide your assistant and the children through their learning journey.
Our Service
Located in a peaceful setting, and featuring an expansive natural outdoor play area, Windsor Neighbourhood centres provides children with a unique learning environment that encourages creativity and exploration for up to 54 children.
Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday to Friday)
Remuneration: $27.49 to $30.07 per hour based on qualifications and experience and as per the Children’s Services Modern Award 2010.

- Plan and deliver a high quality, inclusive, educational program.
- Following our events calendar to ensure all children have the opportunity to participate in the program and special events.
- Support children to grow and develop and are committed to seeing them learn and have fun in a happy, safe and nurturing environment.
- Participate in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
- Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
- Effective workplace communication skills
