Form of workOur Imagine Childcare and Kindergarten Blakeview is seeking Diploma Lead Educators to join our supportive team on a permanent basis, offering you that flexibility!
The role
- Your passion and enthusiasm will see you assisting to lead a classroom by effectively engaging with educators, families, children and the wider community to implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of the children
- You will have a strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- You will work at all times in compliance with Government Regulations and centre policies and procedures to meet high quality standards
- You will network with relevant stakeholders in the local community
- You will have confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families
- You will have the ability to contribute to the documentation of the children's skills and interests that include a clear cycle of reflective practice
About you
- Working towards Diploma, Diploma or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
- Experience in an early childhood setting (preferred)
- Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
- Current Working with Children Check
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- Strong leadership skills and an ability to confidently guide and mentor your peers
- Confidence in building strong relationships and partnerships with children and families
- Ability to observe and record children’s learning and contribute to their educational portfolios
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to critically reflect
