Your Employer
Renowned as pioneers in sustainability and innovation, our client has established themselves as leaders in the Australian agricultural industry for over 185 years. With over 300 dedicated employees, 7 integrated businesses, and a turnover of more than 215-thousand cattle per year, they are now home to Australia’s largest feedlot in Grassdale, QLD.
In addition to their industry-leading feedlots, their diverse range of operations include cottonseed oil extraction, stockfeeds, supply chain, beef export, and Australia’s first manure fertiliser facility. The Role
As a newly created role, tasked with leading a team of Electricians, the Electrical Supervisor will provide electrical and instrumentation maintenance across the Feedlot, Cottonseed Oil, and Fertiliser facilities. The role will be responsible for driving continuous improvement, whilst ensuring all electrical maintenance programs are maintained to the industry-leading standard our client has become known for.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role will work between the hours of 5:30am to 3:00pm (Monday to Friday). An on-call roster will be rotated between each Electrician, with associated allowances applied.

  • Providing on-call support, scheduling, and planning when required
For a detailed list of responsibilities, a position description may be provided upon request.
About You
With a strong focus on safety, communication, and animal welfare, you will have previous experience in large-scale production maintenance. You will have effective leadership skills, and the ability to oversee performance management and training practices within your team.
To be considered for the role, you must be able to address the following criteria:
  • Relevant electrical trade certification
  • Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and other associated instrumentation
  • Diagnosis and rectification abilities
  • Advanced communication and organisational skills
  • Open driver’s licence
Other certification/licences essential for the role (or willingness to acquire) include:
  • QLD Electrical Licence
  • Nominated QTP Holder
The Benefits:
As a newly created position, you will have the unique opportunity to assist in the continuous development of your role and team. You will receive ongoing training and career development prospects, whilst participating in the associated incentive bonus scheme.
Other benefits include:
  • Employee discounts across meat products, fuel, and health insurance
  • Locally-based accommodation with competitive rental rates
  • Short distance from Dalby, and only an hour drive from Toowoomba
  • Allowances for on-call duties and nominees licence
  • Attractive Monday to Friday roster
  • Chance to develop your career within a nation-leading agribusiness
