About the role
Based in the northern suburbs of Perth, we are looking for a Lead Installer join our team. The position is Mon-Fri with occasional overtime required and will require you to start and finish from our warehouse located in Gnangara.
To be successful in this role you must possess the following;
- A Grade WA Electrical licence
- CEC Accreditation
- A passion for your craft
- Driver’s Licence
- Minimum 12 months solar installation experience (desirable but not essential)
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Top quality workmanship
- Commitment and reliability
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Work with the company Director on projects and work to completion
- Installation of solar PV systems, solar Battery Systems and EV charging stations in both residential and commercial applications
- Perform solar PV service works & upgrades to existing systems
- Supervision of apprentice/s
- Completion of all required paperwork
- Liaising with clients
- Attend tool box meetings & promote the values of Solar My Home WA
- Lead your team to project completion in an effective and positive manner
- Coordinate work & assist our scheduling team, if required
- Keep up to date with industry changes
You will be provided with;
- Competitive remuneration - our starting rate for this position is $48.00ph, plus overtime, negotiable for the right person
