We are currently seeking applications for the position of Lead Landscape Architect at a multidisciplinary land development consultancy in Melbourne. They provide expertise to the land development, infrastructure, and building sectors, servicing some of Australia’s biggest land development companies.
As the Lead Landscape Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping their projects, driving innovation, and representing the firm at the forefront of the industry. This position is in its infancy, offering a unique opportunity for an agile professional who is willing to evolve and ingrain best practices. You will be willing to be on the tools day to day but have the strategic mindset to see the big picture.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead client engagements, ensuring high-quality project delivery from concept through construction.
• Work closely with the Managing Director to build capability in-house including advice on best practices on processes, software etc.
• Run projects from concept through to delivery including detailed design.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet client and company goals.
• Cultivate and manage collaborative relationships inside and outside the organisation.

The successful candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
• Circa 7+ years of professional experience in Landscape Architecture, with a proven track record of successful project leadership in Victoria,
• Robust design and project management skills with experience in a variety of project types, including new estates, public spaces, parks, green infrastructure, commercial etc.
• Hands-on experience delivering all phases of the design life-cycle.
• Superior skills in the use of AutoCAD and Adobe Suite packages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• An adaptive, solutions-focused mindset.
