About the role
We have an opportunity for a Mid-Level landscape Architect/Designer to join our Melbourne team.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively within our organisation to develop quality design outcomes for our clients across a broad range of projects. Strong design skills are desired to work through from concept design to construction plans. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp are essential.
Experience & proficiency with Lumion or V-Ray will be well regarded.
The right candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, be self-motivated and driven to deliver work of a high calibre.
The role involves tasks including, but not limited to:
- Production of residential landscape concept designs and plans
- Preparation of construction plans and detailed drawings
- Generating 3D models & high quality renders
- Liaising with clients & contractors
- Building and council permit applications

Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- A strong body of work in residential landscape design
- Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to visualise design project.
- Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate qualification in Landscape Architecture/Design with a minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD & the Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with SketchUp or similar 3D modelling programs
- A detailed planting knowledge is required.
- Experience with swimming pool construction and building permit applications would be well regarded.
- The ability to work independently on projects and develop design concepts, within a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- The ability to adapt quickly, take on a variety of tasks and problem solve.
- Unrestricted Australian driver’s license
