They are experiencing growth and are seeking a Lead Mechanical Designer to join their team for an exciting project with a clear future pipeline of work.
The Role
Based in the CBD, you will lead a team of Mechanical/Structural Designer Drafters on an expansion project for a Western Australian gold mine. Our client is committed to delivering the highest quality construction solutions, incorporating 3D technologies where appropriate. In this role, you will work closely with major mining operators and lead a team of three Mechanical/Structural Designer Drafters. You will be using AutoCAD and Tekla - with full training provided on Tekla (should you not already be proficient).
About You
To be successful in the position, you will require the following:
- Degree qualifications in Engineering
- 7 years + experience
- Experience using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Previous experience managing a team of design professionals
- Good interpersonal and report writing skills.
- High-level communication skills
