We have an opportunity for a Lead – People Systems to support a highly collaborative People Systems team to deliver consistent and effective service to leaders and employees through core People Systems, processes, procedures and reporting.

About the role:

As a key member of the team and reporting to the Manager, People Systems, this role will partner with section managers and team leaders within the People Business Unit, to inform and understand the people strategy and desired outcomes, ensuring alignment to future direction of People Systems.
You’ll step into a highly capable team of energetic professionals. As a proven leader, you will ensure your team successfully engages and communicates with stakeholders to prioritise maintenance requests and enhancements for implementation.
You will be part of the implementation of a new time and award interpretation system as well as supporting the implementation of a new recruitment and onboarding system and improve integration and automation across our network of people related systems.
About you:
You will collaborate across our People Business Units to streamline transactional work and apply a strategic continuous improvement approach to simplify processes and procedures, gain efficiencies, and improve the customer experience. This role will lead the team to undertake strategic analysis of workforce data to provide insights and recommendations across the people processes and the development and implementation of plans to improve systems functionality aimed of customer self-service and user experience.
Key skills and experience:
You will be Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business, or a relevant discipline, with substantial experience in leading a shared services function; People & Payroll HR Systems, reporting and analytics functions. Ideally, this include utilising SAP/SuccessFactors or a similar enterprise-wide solution.
An experienced and engaging leader, you will coach and mentor your team to maximise individual and team potential and performance. Your technical expertise and practical understanding of systems and processes, interpreting Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements, and excellent working knowledge, will ensure success in this role.
