As a result of a secured engagement with one of our Defence partners, Helix requires a Lead Service Delivery Manager to join us on a long-term contract (12 months with expected extensions).
We're looking for a Lead SDM with proven experience of solving complex problems, who thrives working as part of a team to push boundaries and is passionate about leveraging technology to produce world-class outcomes for critical Defence, intelligence and national security customers.
Lead SDM key responsibilities:
- Anticipate current and future requirements, to develop strategic solutions and lead an integrated managed Service Delivery model
- Forge and maintain strong relationships with Defence and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities, ensuring alignment with IT Service Delivery objectives.
- Monitor service performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement ITIL best practices and ensure adherence to established Service Delivery standards.
- NV2 clearance is a minimum requirement for this environment
- Defence stakeholder relationship management experience at a SFIA Level 6-7
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related IT/business discipline.
- Min. 5 years experience in Lead Service Delivery Management roles within enterprise environments
- Proven SME expertise with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and ITIL Service Delivery models
- Ability to work with externals, including consultants and vendors.
- NV2 is a minimum clearance level requirement for this assignment
