Lead Service Technician Power Generation - 2ic to Technical Services Manager

Behind all of these solutions is an ongoing service, support and maintenance and that is our focus for this role.

This is an office-based role and supporting a very busy Technical Services Manager. But you will be his partner in crime and keep a growing list of diverse customers happy whilst continuing to define and improve technical support solutions.

About the role:

We are looking for a n Lead Service Technician Power Generation who will be the 2ic to Technical Services Manager

We hope you are an experienced electrician willing to join our team, this role is an in house role and the tasks are aligned to monitoring the fleet of turbines that are under service warranties being - fault finding and problem solving, and then creating jobs for the field technicians, and supporting them remotely when they are in the field with fault finding and problem solving.

You are not required to allocate the jobs or organise the field technicians, as that role is conducted by someone else.

In addition you are supporting the Technical Services Manager in a 2ic role

About you

We are seeking a talented electrical engineer or electrician to join our service team, someone who has excellent troubleshooting and fault finding abilities, enjoys solving complex problems and takes pride in delivering an excellent customer experience. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of technical skills to effectively maintain, install, repair, test, verify, and commission equipment and machinery, along with a strong focus on OHS in the workplace. 

Desirable Skills: 

Essential

• Electrical Engineering or Electrical trade qualification.
• Able to interpret technical drawings, such as Electrical Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, etc.
• Experience with controls and instrumentation. 
• Hazardous Area / Environment experience.
• You hold Australian citizenship, or permanent residency Visa or have the right to work permanently in Australia for a prescribed period of time. 

An attractive salary package including laptop, mobile phone and uniform is on offer. Working hours are 7.30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Thursday and 7:30am – 2:00pm on Fridays.
