About the Role
- To ensure Early Childhood Education and Care services are resourced to ensure they are supported to provide a high standard of service to families, and educators within Darebin.
- To provide leadership which enhances the customer service, experience for families, through meaningful engagement and efficient service integration.
- To assess community demands for relevant Early Years programs and Resources required and provide direction in planning.
- To work with all departments of Council and liaise with other relevant stakeholders in the delivery of services to the community in line with Council strategies, policies and framework objectives.
- A tertiary qualification in Early Childhood, Children’s Services, or equivalent
- Experience in staff management, budgeting and program co-ordination.
- A current Working With Children Card and police check
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
- Full VIT registration
- Experience working with children’s programs and family support programs.
