- Rostering Maintenance staff to ensure business needs are met with adequate staff onsite during manufacturing hours of 6.30am – 5pm daily.
- Managing on call/remote alarm monitoring roster system (after hours site support)
- Ensuring daily priorities for the Maintenance Team are clear and managed using our on-line system (Digitier).
- Participate in weekly manufacturing planning meetings to ensure equipment availability.
- Coordination of annual leave across the Maintenance Team according to business requirements.
- New employee onboarding and training to ensure GMP standards are maintained.
- Contractor inductions and review of risk management plans
- Execute and Supervise Preventative Maintenance, Calibration and Recertification Program tasks including.
- Facility Routine checks of back-up power systems
- Preventative Maintenance on Vial and Bottle Filling Machines, Automatic Labelers, Autoclaves, Fermenters
- Calibration of thermometers, pressure gauges, magnahelic gauges, other specialty instruments
- Upkeep and Maintenance of Facility, Structures and Building
- Attendance at and Escalation of breakdowns.
- Spare part management: Making decisions on Stock levels vs risk and availability.
- Distribution and monitoring of daily maintenance tasks:
- Perform Daily Maintenance Checks: Complete Routine checks of Critical Services and Utilities.
- Contractor Liaison assistance.
- Service work planned.
- Executed Service work signing/approval.
- Ensure maintenance staff are available to assist contractor related activities when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of works in SAP PM maintenance worksheets and Maintenance Management System.
- Assist Project Work, Execute New Equipment Introduction and Retirement tasks.
- Production maintenance experience in the pharmaceutical or similar industry such as Food, Cosmetics or Consumer Health.
- Broad Mechanical Knowledge in processing and services equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to execute Preventative Maintenance Activities.
- Demonstrable, strong team organizational skills.
- Good experience in the use of SAP PM CMMS system or other CMMS system
- Strong cross-functional team player.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Electrical Trade Qualification highly desirable.
- Mechanical Trade Qualification preferred but not essential.
- Car license
