As part of our high performing national HR team, we are looking for a Learning and Development Advisor to work closely with our Learning and Development Manager to lead Learning and Development projects across Australia.
About the role:
- Support existing internal BMD programs including but not limited to, the BMD Graduate Programs and Future Leaders programs.
- Advise, design, and coordinate the development of learning content for various Learning and organisational development initiatives for implementation across the group including but not limited to competency frameworks, functional learning, leadership learning, performance and talent development programs (mentoring & coaching).
- Assist with the implementation of our performance review cycle, promote uptake within the regions and provide training and advice as well as system reporting development.
- Learning Management System optimisation including digitalisation of learning content for the group.
- Build rapport with internal stakeholders, external consultants, government bodies and training providers.
- Assist the wider HR team in driving greater employee retention initiatives.
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources OR Training
- Proven experience within L&D
- Experience in a similar role within the construction industry would be highly regarded
- Understanding the ability of our civil construction workforce to learn new skills, model new behaviours and adapt continuously
- Engaging, collaborative and consultative approach with demonstrated ability to interact at all levels and build strong, respectful relationships
- Demonstrated experience with learning management system optimisation, program and content design and functional learning projects
- Ability to adapt to any team or culture seamlessly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
