The Role
We are seeking dynamic and caring Learning Assistants to join our Learning Strategies Team at the Caulfield Campus of Caulfield Grammar School.
You will be working in a supportive and collegial team in this Full Time 9-month Fixed Term opportunity (term time only position) starting Term 2. As a valued member of our team, you will be part of making a real difference by positively impacting student experience and contributing to our School community.
Key Duties
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other assistants in the development and implementation of a student-centred educational programme
- Use strategies based on knowledge of students’ physical, social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning
- Maintain daily written documentation on relevant behaviour and learning as required
- Contribute positively to the wider team and school environment
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
Skills and Experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in a school based setting would be advantageous
- Certificate III in Education Support or equivalent
- Experience supporting the differentiation of the curriculum within the secondary environment
- Employment Working With Children Check
