ABOUT PEERPEER is a non-profit industry-based organisation, a Group Training Organisation (GTO) and an award winning Registered Training Organisation (RTO), delivering nationally accredited training packages to meet South Australia’s skill development needs.POSITION OVERVIEW: The Learning Experience Officer is responsible for providing support to apprentices during their studies at PEER, this includes monitoring and tracking the progress of apprentices, delivering motivational and study skills training and providing individual or group advice and guidance.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with our learners, with assistance from the Learning Experience Coordinator and Training team, to support the implementation of learning goals and learning plansFacilitate training workshops for groups of learners on learning related subjectsImplement support according to our learners Individual Learning PlansWork with PEER internal staff to provide support to our learnersProvide advice and guidance to our learners to help develop their academic/study skillsBuild relationships with learners to improve completion goalsSKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Essential Demonstrated experience of working in learning support within an education settingCurrent Working with Children Check and a clear National Police CheckA team player who is self-motivated and has the ability to work effectively under minimal supervisionStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to adapt to changeStrong organisational skills and the ability to multi-taskA strong commitment to safe work practices Desirable Exposure to a Vocational Education and Training (VET) or other learning environmentExperience in online learning management systems (LMS)Certificate IV TAE or willingness to obtainExperience in online / blended or flexible learning modelsAbility to use different computer applications and packagesApplications for this fantastic opportunity will close on 20 March 2024We actively work on creating a safe and inclusive environment free of discrimination, where our team feel a true sense of belonging.
