We are currently seeking a highly collaborative Learning Futures Manager who will be responsible for the for leading Scitech’s professional learning and learning program teams and playing a critical role in supporting the successful achievement of Scitech’s strategic goals in the development and delivery of science, technology, mathematics and engineering (STEM) aligned education and future skills development.

In this role you will:

  • Provide impactful leadership and management to a high performing team, acting as a coach to develop delivery and design excellence and as a mentor to grow and stretch capability.
  • Oversee the continual development of Scitech’s learning framework and suite of professional development programs.
  • Provide subject matter expert support for the Partnerships team in relation to partnership opportunities and proposals for existing and potential new programs or content.
  • Develop and continually review strategies and frameworks linked to professional learning and specialised learning programs.
  • Develop project management plans, schedules, project reports and other documents required for each project.

Who are we looking for? 

We are seeking an individual who can work effectively with an extended team to deliver programs and activities whilst demonstrating highly developed written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills. Additionally, this includes the ability to build positive working relationships with customers and staff at all levels on a range of topics in a consultative role.

Other skills and experience required includes:

  • Experience in successfully executing across multiple programs & projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated business acumen with proven commercial outcomes in Program development and growth.
  • A well-established network within the WA education sector.
  • Background in STEM with a strong knowledge of STEM educational pedagogy and principles consistent with the WA Education system and curriculum.
  • Exposure to a data or insights driven approach to product and service development
  • Demonstrated experience in Education related Project Management.
  • Experience and understanding of operational frameworks relating to a Not-For-Profit organisation.

Qualifications and Licences required include:

• 3+ years' experience in service delivery of Education programs

• A current and valid ‘C’ class driver’s licence.

• Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one

• National Police Clearance or ability to obtain one
