Join our Operations and Maintenance team in Brisbane QLD on a 12-month max term contract basis.
Reporting to the Senior Learning Specialist you will play a key role in contributing to the development of competency frameworks and in the creation and execution of training and assessment programs. You’ll join a dynamic Learning and Development team that’s passionate about improving skills and fostering growth through development pathways and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the development of competency frameworks and implementation of new training and assessment programs.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain effective training materials with key stakeholders.
- Assist managers and team leaders in creating and maintaining learning pathways for their team members.
- Develop innovative and engaging learning solutions across multiple platforms that meet learner needs.
- Contribute expertise to the Learning and Development team to foster a ‘learning organisation’ culture.
Your background
- Proven experience in content development with a track record in adult education of developing and delivering learning solutions tailored to diverse audiences.
- Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting needs assessments to identify training gaps and designing customised training programs to address specific organisational needs.
- Proven experiencing using the Microsoft Office suite of programs, with a focus on leveraging technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Strong drive for results, with a commitment to delivering high-quality learning outcomes.
- Enthusiastic and nurturing with exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
