Role Description/Criteria
St Peter's East Bentleigh School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all the children in our care. We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced applicants with a commitment to the ethos of Catholic education for the following position:
Learning Support Officer (30 hours per week, 9:00am to 3:25pm Monday to Friday) or Learning Support Officer (24 hours per week, 9:00am to 3:25pm Monday to Thursday) commencing 15th of April or as soon as possible after that date (Start of term two).
The fixed term position involves assisting students with specific learning needs with an ability to work with children from Foundation to Year Six.
The successful applicant will work under the direction of the Learning Diversity Leader.

Certificate IV in Education Support or other qualification desirable. Applicants with a university degree or are willing to undertake Certifcate IV Education support training will also be considered.
Level Two First Aid required (If no First aid qualification then a willingness to undertake this training is essential).
Commencement date 15th of April or as soon as possible after that date.
