We have a fantastic opportunity for three Learning Support Officers to join Penola Catholic College and work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
As the Learning Support Officer, you will be responsible for supporting and assisting students with additional needs in order to maximise their educational outcomes. The Learning Support Officer will provide assistance in the classroom and out of the classroom working closely with teaching staff and student enhancement teachers to ensure our students with additional needs are given every assistance to learn and reach their full potential.
This is a part time five days per week position with both ongoing and fixed term positions available. The hours would be Monday to Friday 8:45am to 3:25pm, for a total of 30 hours per week.
About You
To be successful you will have previous experience as a Learning Support Officer, preferably in a secondary school, or experience working with young people with additional needs or learning barriers. An education support qualification would be highly regarded. You must have a valid Working With Children Check.
You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

About Penola Catholic College
Penola Catholic College is a co-educational college for students from years 7-12 with two campuses in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne. College campuses are situated in Glenroy, which caters for years 7 and 8, and the senior campus in Broadmeadows that features years 9 to 12 and a total college enrolment of approximately 1,500 students.
