AddressRole Description/Criteria
This role is for Wednesdays and Thursdays 8:50 am until 3:20 pm working mainly with our grade 2 year level. It will encompass working with the class teacher to assist specific children requiring additional support. The position will be for the duration of the 2024 year, with a strong possibility of extended employment beyond 2024 for the right-fit candidate.
Key Roles:
- working closely with the classroom teacher in supporting students who require additional support
- supporting the classroom teacher in daily administrative tasks e.g. preparing learning and teaching materials and resources
- working collaboratively with the classroom teacher to help achieve PLP and SAP goals.
Commitment to Catholic Education:
- a demonstrated understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission.
Child Safety:
- be familiar with and comply with the St Mary's Child Safety and Wellbeing polic and code of conduct,
- assist in the provision of a child-safe environment for students
- demonstrate duty of care to students in relation to their physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
