The CampusOneSchool Global Toowoomba is conveniently nestled at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac in Middle Ridge. The PositionWe have an opportunity for a Learning Support Teacher to join our amazing Toowoomba team on a full-time or part-time ongoing basis. 

This position will be responsible for running interventions for students, planning programs for the students with need, writing Individual Education Plans, providing program support to teaching staff, across our primary and secondary faculties.

About You:
All applicants will need an excellent understanding of the Australian Curriculum and Syllabus, be a QLD registered teacher, and have relevant teaching and tertiary qualifications.

As a Learning Support Teacher, you will be skilled in the ability to identify and evaluate student needs, differentiate instruction for students along all parts of the learning spectrum, collect, analyse, and effectively utilise data, create and implement individualised education plans and be able to provide professional guidance to staff.  Experience working with students with ASD is essential.  Strong ability to effectively engage and support teenage boys is highly regarded. 

You will need to be comfortable stepping away from traditional classroom teaching practices, to embrace modern teaching methods and technologies including video conferencing and online resources.
