What this opportunity involves:
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role in the commercial real estate market? We are currently accepting Expressions of Interest for the position of Leasing Executive within our Metro Office Leasing Team in Melbourne.
As a Leasing Executive, you will be part of our dedicated Leasing team, responsible for managing assigned leasing portfolios to achieve revenue and profitability targets. This role involves a mix of business development, client relationship management, leasing strategy execution, and reporting.
An overview of the role:
- Business Development: Collaborate with the Leasing team to source new client opportunities. Gather market information to enhance our systems and database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date listings and building information.
- Client Relationships: Meet regularly with client/owner representatives to provide informative updates. Take an active role in client relationship and communication matters. Assist in preparing leasing submissions, reports, market updates, and presentations.
- Leasing: Contribute to the development and execution of comprehensive leasing strategies aligned with our clients' investment objectives. Solicit and negotiate with tenants on behalf of our clients to achieve favorable commercial outcomes.
- Reporting and Measurement: Prepare property-specific leasing reports, quarterly market summaries, and status reports as required. Attend team and research forecasting meetings as necessary.
- Communication: Strong negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to build rapport, influence stakeholders, and maintain open, constructive relationships with colleagues, clients, and the wider business community.
- Customer Focus: Proven success in meeting customer expectations and building effective relationships. Ability to establish and maintain trust and respect with internal and external customers.
- Results Driven: Strong multitasking skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Maintains effectiveness in varying environments, tasks, and responsibilities.
- Planning and Organisation: Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word. Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- A keen interest in the commercial real estate market with a basic understanding of its influences.
- Tertiary qualifications in property or commerce degrees are preferred but not essential.
