As the Leaving Care Caseworker you will ensure the provision of crucial assessment and casework services to young people, carers and their families across Sydney.

- Oversee and implement Leaving Care Program, including case management for clients and facilitating their goals and plans.
- Develop Leaving Care Programs for Young People in, focusing on areas such as wellbeing, connection, culture, self-awareness, life skills, and empowerment.
- Conduct group work, training, and supervision for clients in Leaving Care Programs.
- Maintain thorough documentation, including case notes, reports, and records in accordance with policies.
- Fulfill on-call duties for Young People in the Leaving Care Programs as necessary.
- Cultivate relationships with stakeholders to support program facilitation.
The requirements for this role include;
- Aboriginality
- Qualifications in Community Services or relevant field.
- Experience or knowledge in child and family welfare and in foster care or a related area of alternate care for children is desirable, although not essential.
- Knowledge of issues pertaining to the Stolen Generation and transgenerational trauma.
- Knowledge of issues surrounding abuse and neglect of children and the impact of trauma and child protection.
- Current NSW driver's license and use of a registered and insured passenger vehicle.
- Evidence of at least two COVID-19 Vaccinations.
