The successful incumbent will, among other responsibilities, support and training of international students undertaking master's level education and will undertake research and publish in areas corresponding to their area of expertise, supported by sound experience gained by direct industry collaborations and partnerships.
As a Lecturer, Biotechnology you will:

• Lead teaching teams to develop effective unit curricula and learning resources (including through unit leadership roles)
• Contribute to review of units and courses and implements refinements.
• Advance knowledge within their specific fields/areas of teaching scholarship and pedagogical research activity
• Initiate, designs and conducts and may lead productive, high-quality research, scholarship and creative activities generating high impact outputs.
• Provide effective mentoring to HDR students to support professional and career development and employability.
• Contribute to the implementation of specific aspects of University's strategic agenda.

To be successful, you'll have:

• PhD in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience
• Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design
• Emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications and/or exhibitions and/or success in obtaining external research funding.
• Ability to contribute to community engagement for research and teaching.
• Capacity to contribute to leadership of teaching, research and/or administration.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.
