Position Status: Ongoing contract of employment, with a 6-month qualifying period.The Faculty of Health Science, Community and Social Studies provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links.The School of Nursing is growing, and we are currently seeking qualified individuals who can bring expertise in designing and delivering undergraduate curriculum across all our curriculum subjectsAs part of these roles, you will guide our students through a blend of on-campus theoretical instruction and cutting-edge simulation activities, taking place in our state-of-the-art simulation apartments and clinical wards.You’ll collaborate closely with our team of academics, applying contemporary educational frameworks within an innovative, integrated curriculum model. Additionally, research engagement will be expected as you contribute to the growth and development of our academic community.ABOUT YOU
- Post graduate qualifications - Master of Nursing, Education, relevant specialty area or health related discipline.
- Have a high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management, organisational and planning skills.
- A keen interest in applying contemporary, evidence-based teaching and learning methods to maximise student learning outcomes.
- Familiarity with simulation is essential as this is embedded into each year of nursing.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching higher education students.
- Ability to positively respond to change and adapt to new situations and requirements.
- Extensive experience in relevant Health Science field.
- Current registration with AHPRA preferred.
