Position: Lifting and Rigging Inspector (Casual may lead to full time if desired)
Location: Northern Western Australia (FIFO)
Duration: July to Oct as part of Shutdown. Work involves 2 and 3 week swings.
Safe Lifting Australia is a leader in providing comprehensive lifting and rigging solutions across various industries. We are currently seeking a dedicated Lifting and Rigging Specialist to join our dynamic team. This position is based in Northern Western Australia with a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) arrangement from Perth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely perform lifting and rigging operations in various settings.
- Inspect and maintain lifting equipment and accessories.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational protocols.
- Collaborate with the operations team to plan and execute complex lifts.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid Australian driving licence.
- LEEA Foundation Certificate (FOU) and Lifting Accessories (LAC) Diploma.
- Certified in Dogging with a valid HR Licence.
- Proven experience in rigging and lifting operations.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
- Previous FIFO experience.
- Ability to work in challenging environments and adapt to varying conditions.
