About the opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our Legal and Risk Team on a permanent part time basis, based in our corporate office in Kelvin Grove. Your new role will see you provide administrative and paralegal support to the General Counsel and the Head of Risk.
Key activities:
- Undertaking legal research and handling smaller legal matters
- Preparing documents and presentations to support activities within the Legal and Risk team
- Lodging documents with regulatory agencies
- Organising and coordinating meetings including preparing agendas, minutes and papers
- Maintenance of company and document registers
- Proactive diary and email management
- Organising travel as required
- Ensuring expense reconciliation and purchase orders are complete
We would love to hear from you if you
- Have previous legal research or secretarial experience
- Have a high level of written and interpersonal communication skills
- Are currently studying for a Bachelor of Laws
- Have Advanced Microsoft skills in Work, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, with experience in SharePoint being highly desirable
