Form of workWe are looking for a full time Legal Assistant with experience in family law to join our team.

For the right candidate we may consider a work from home arrangement for one day per week after the probation period has been passed.
If you have at least 5 years' experience working as a Legal Assistant in family law and if you have the following skills, this could be the perfect role for you:
- Exceptional eye to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive team yet also independently.
- Familiarity with family law legal terminology.
- Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Maintain our strict code of confidentiality at all times.
Legal Assistant responsibilities include:
- Managing lawyers' schedules and appointments.
- Liaising with clients and handling their enquiries via email, phone and in person.
- Preparing Court documents and correspondence to the client and other side.
- Preparing Briefs to Counsel.
- Typing out dictation using BigHand.
- Filing documents on the Court Portal.
- Indexing disclosure documents.
- Corresponding with external solicitors and barristers.
- Saving and organising client correspondence and documents.
- Preparing and sending invoices to clients.
