SalaryWe are currently looking for an enthusiastic full-time Legal Assistant to join our team.
We practice in Criminal Law and assist people from a diverse range of backgrounds.
The successful applicant will preferably have some experience working as an admin.assistant in Criminal Law or be enthusiastic to learn the ropes.
The position is 12 month contract full time however we will consider pro rata 4 day per week for the right candidate.
Duties will include:- greeting clients and visitors;
- answering and directing phone calls;
- preparing legal correspondence;
- preparing briefs and court documents;
- opening, closing and archiving files;
- providing general administrative support to the principal and lawyers;
- diary management;
- lodging Legal Aid applications.
This role is an onsite role.

The position is full time on a 12-month contract.
The proposed hours are 8.45am to 5.15pm.
Remuneration range is $65,000 to $75,000 depending upon experience.
