The Team:

You will be part of a team of highly skilled legal and administrative professionals. Our Insurance & Health department is headed up by 33 well-respected principals across six states. Within the insurance space our award-winning team is known for producing high quality advice and delivering exceptional client service. The team handles claims across all major classes of insurance and acts for the biggest names in the insurance industry, both locally and overseas.

The Role: 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis in Sydney. Duties of this role will include:

  • file management – opening/closing files and filing/e-filing;
  • adhering to client service standards; 
  • preparation of correspondence and legal documents in consultation with work authors;
  • broad range of client communication and management;
  • preparation of briefs;  
  • monthly billing and reporting;
  • general diary management, including arranging client appointments and other events;
  • general administrative support.

This role will suit a candidate with the following:
