Form of workOur client is a global law firm with a reputation of excellence who are currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join a busy Finance & Projects team. Situated in the heart of the Perth CBD, they are surrounded by the best food and coffee options with state of the art facilities on site.
The Role
As a Legal Assistant your role will work alongside 3 other Legal Assistants, supporting a busy team of fee earners with duties including:
- Document production: drafting, amending and proof reading documents
- File management: opening and closing electronic and paper files
- Financials: billing/WIP reports
- Diary management: maintaining lawyers diaries, time & travel management
- Liaising with clients: corresponding by phone and email with clients as to the whereabouts of their matters
To be considered for this opportunity you should have:
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience working in the legal space
- Excellent communication skills along with a high level of attention to detail and professionalism
