Our opportunity
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing legal support for Mirvac's commercial, retail, industrial and build-to-rent (BTR) assets. This role will work across multiple business unit lines. Key areas of involvement will be:
- Acquisition and disposal of real estate assets, including under fund structures;
- Government tenders;
- Putting in place contracts with capital partners and third party investors which may include fund through/development agreements, co-owner agreements, property management and investment management agreements;
- All aspects of the delivery of developments (AFLs and leases, consultancy and procurement contracts, construction contracts).
- Assisting with the formulation of processes to manage business risk at asset level;
- General legal assistance relating to all aspects property management, marketing and leasing;
- Resolving minor disputes (major disputes referred to specialist team ).
- Assisting in identifying and managing actual or potential conflicts of interest that may arise within the business.
- Assisting the business in the development of precedents, procedures and training programs.
Your point of difference
An ability to provide commercially focused legal support, excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and supervisory skills are preferred.
