We will count on you to:

• Provide expert and commercial legal advice in a timely and professional manner to all aspects of the Marsh & Mercer Australia businesses
• Work on contracts with our clients, suppliers and the insurance market generally
• Work on industry specific materials such a binding authority, opinion letter, attestation, Authorised Representative agreement, or distributor agreement.
• Analysis of and advice on new and/or changing laws and regulations
• Identify liability exposure and provide solutions to manage and reduce risk to Marsh & Mercer
• Effective management of outside counsel and review of outside counsel work product.
• Provide supervision and development to junior team members
• Liaison between the legal team and rest of the corporate group

• Assisting in producing reports, manuals, and presentations
• Other tasks as directed by the manager, Chief Commercial Counsel, Pacific

• Ability to work autonomously and accurately to meet multiple deadlines
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of writing and communication skills
• Ability to draft and edit concisely
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
