  • Implement effective strategies for dispute avoidance, including the development of clear dispute resolution mechanisms in contracts.
  • Work closely with project teams to address and resolve construction-related disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with external Legal Counsel when necessary for dispute resolution.
Legal Documentation and Record-Keeping:
  • Maintain accurate and organised legal documentation related to construction projects, including contracts, permits, and correspondence.
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive repository of legal templates and precedents for construction agreements.
  • Ensure all legal documentation is easily accessible for internal and external stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication:
  • Act as the primary legal liaison for construction project matters, communicating effectively with internal teams, contractors, and external Legal Counsel.
  • Provide regular legal updates to senior management on project-related legal matters.
  • Conduct legal training sessions for project teams to enhance communication and understanding of legal requirements.
Legal Training and Awareness:
  • Provide ongoing legal training to project teams, ensuring a high level of awareness regarding legal risks and compliance requirements.
  • Foster a culture of legal compliance within the organisation through educational initiatives and awareness campaigns.
Regulatory Analysis:
  • Stay abreast of regulatory developments affecting Renewable Energy Construction projects at the local, national, and international levels.
  • Provide timely and accurate legal advice on compliance with emerging regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with regulatory affairs teams to ensure seamless integration of legal and regulatory considerations into project planning and execution.
Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in construction law, preferably with a focus on Renewable Energy gained either in an in-house or private practice role.
  • Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary and bonuses.
  • Comprehensive health plans.
