- join the UBS Investment Bank Legal team supporting UBS' market leading Advisory and Capital Markets (Global Banking) business across the ANZ region, including advising on equity and debt capital markets and M&A advisory transactions
- partner with our colleagues to give legal and regulatory advice, supporting a variety of Global Banking transactions and advising on developing areas of law and regulatory reform relevant to investment banking
- work within our supportive and collaborative Legal team to develop your expertise in a range of product areas, including equity and debt capital markets, exchange traded markets, lending and transaction execution, capital management transactions and develop your in-house advisory expertise
- collaborate with colleagues within Legal and our businesses
- work with business, external advisors and other functions on transaction documentation and execution

We're responsible for advising on legal and regulatory matters related to equity and debt capital markets and investment banking services and operations in this region. We also work closely with our colleagues around the globe. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our market leading international Global Banking business.Your expertise
- demonstrated M&A/ECM experience in a leading private practice firm or in-house in a peer investment bank in ANZ
- 6-10 years post-qualification M&A/ECM experience preferred (Australian or high quality international experience will be highly regarded)
- experience working with senior teams on commercially sensitive matters
- a strong written and verbal communicator, used to interacting with colleagues at all levels
- effective at collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders and building strong networks and connections
- comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- proven analytical and organisational skills
