We are currently seeking Senior Associates/Special Counsels to join our client with both permanent and fixed term contract opportunities available. Focusing on Insurance Law, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality legal services to our diverse client base within the insurance sector. You will have the opportunity to work on complex insurance matters, collaborate with talented colleagues, and contribute to the growth and success of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and representation to insurance clients across a range of matters, including policy interpretation, coverage disputes, and claims litigation.
- Conduct legal research, draft insurance policies and contracts, and prepare persuasive arguments for insurance-related disputes.
- Manage client relationships with insurance companies, and other stakeholders, providing strategic guidance and practical solutions.
- Mentor junior team members and assist in their professional development within the field of insurance law.
- Contribute to business development initiatives within the insurance sector, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion of our client base.
- Admission as a solicitor or barrister in Australia, with a minimum of 8 years of post-admission experience specialising in insurance law.
- Extensive experience in insurance law, with a deep understanding of insurance regulations, policies, and industry practices.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively advocate on behalf of insurance clients.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional results in insurance-related matters and exceeding client expectations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team, particularly within the context of insurance litigation and negotiations.
