The role
Working in our Governance unit, you will provide a high standard of legal, policy and administrative support to the organisation on a broad range of legal, governance and Freedom of Information matters.
You will act as a Privacy Officer, oversee and maintain the Citys legislative compliance system, relevant registers and policy framework as well support the preparation of a number of written documents.
About You
To be successful in this position, you will have experience working in a legal or governance environment where you assisted lawyers in the provision on legal services, the ability to understand and assist in the interpretation of Acts, regulations and subordinate instruments, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management and organisational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
If you hold formal qualifications in law or governance or have Local Government experience, we welcome your application.
