We are an Ipswich law firm seeking to employ a motivated and skilled Legal Secretary/Paralegal to provide administrative support to our Lawyers.
The position will include the following duties:
- Liaising with clients, other law firms, Courts and Government agencies;
- Drafting legal correspondence and documents (including Court documents) using the firm’s Affinity practice management software;
- Dictation transcribing;
- Preparing and collating briefs;
- General administrative duties such as diary and file management.
The successful Applicant will ideally possess the following:
- Prior experience in a legal secretarial/paralegal position;
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal) with a diverse range of clients;
- Fast, accurate typing speed, with meticulous attention to detail;
- Highly organized and efficient with ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines;
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of the team;
- A strong client focus and commitment to client service;
- Pleasant personality with a positive attitude.
