Brisbane is a growing space for them, working with a number of large corporations to assist with major disputes. The currently have a vacancy available for a highly motivated Legal Secretary to join the collaborative team.
about the role
This role will see the successful candidate working closely to support a Partner and fee earners within either the Corporate or Litigation practice groups, however being a team orientated business there will be times where you may be required to assist in other parts of the business.
Taking on this challenge you will be responsible for full secretarial duties including diary and email management, file management, billings, document management, client liaison, dictation, travel coordination, e-filing, company searches and preparation of court documents and briefs for council.
selection criteria:
- Previous experience in a Legal Secretary working closely with the Senior Partners
- Intermediate - Advanced MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Exposure to Aderant and iManage
- Previous dictation experience coupled with fast & accurate typing skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Organised with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic team player
