Legal Secretary (Personal Injury)

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Legal Secretary to join our dynamic Personal Injury team. This role is integral in providing comprehensive support across a range of Personal Injury matters, including:

• Compulsory Third Party (CTP)
• Motor Vehicle Accidents
• Public Liability
• Medical Negligence

Key Responsibilities

• Administrative Support: Manage and organize documents, prepare correspondence, and maintain filing systems.
• Client Liaison: Act as the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and empathy.
• Case Management: Assist in the preparation and management of case files, including drafting legal documents, managing deadlines, and coordinating with relevant parties.
• Calendar Management: Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings, ensuring the efficient use of time for lawyers and clients.
• Data Entry and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and case progress.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with lawyers and other staff to ensure smooth operation and effective case management.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably within the Personal Injury sector.
• Skills: Proficiency in legal terminology, document preparation, and case management systems.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using legal software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant technology.
