About the role
We have an exciting opportunity in our Brisbane office for an experienced Legal Secretary to support across practice groups (predominantly Insurance Services but would also have exposure to Construction, Employment & Safety). The role would suit someone looking for variety in their work with excellent communication skills.
Your key responsibilities will include tasks such as file opening, sorting/redacting documents, billing, preparation and sending of correspondence, preparing briefs, arranging IME appointments and travel, liaising with clients and external providers. This role will be across practice groups and will float between different teams as necessary.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2+ years legal secretarial experience
- Highly organised with excellent administrative skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team with the ability to manage and prioritise own workload
- Ability to liaise and build relationships with people at all levels
- Previous knowledge of OneFile, 3E, CaseFlow and iManage highly favourable
