The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a proactive Legal Secretary/Paralegal to join our CTP Insurance team. We are looking for an experienced, motivated and client-focused person to work with an approachable but busy Partner and provide assistance to the team. Your key responsibilities will include providing administrative support and email management.
The successful candidate’s responsibilities will also include:
- Assisting in the day-to-day management of Partner’s matters, including preparing correspondence, maintaining records and file management.
- Preparing briefs to Counsel
- Assisting with the preparation and filing of legal documents
- Coordinating travel, scheduling meetings, and maintaining calendars
- Supporting with client marketing and follow-up
- Preparing and managing the monthly billing process
- Coordinating medical examinations and corresponding with relevant parties
- Paralegal support on a variety of matters
About You
To be successful in this role you will ideally have at least 2 years of experience as a legal secretary. Our ideal candidate will be able to establish a strong working relationship with all staff and Partners, as well as:
- Be exceptionally organised and be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work autonomously, proactively and with a motivated nature.
- Have a strong client service ethic.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Experience in personal injury as well as Aderant is highly regarded.
