StateGuard Protective Services is currently looking for Security professionals who wish to join a dynamic team to provide a safe and secure environment for patients, staff and visitors at hospital sites located in the Melbourne.
Position Purpose
To carry out guarding duties at guard sites and patrol sites in accordance with StateGuard Standing Orders and site instructions.

Qualification
- completed Certificate II Security Guard / Crowd Controller and hold, at minimum, a Victorian Security Guard (unarmed) category license
- Current First Aid Certification
- Current Driver's License
- Working with children check
- Current Police Check.
- Willingness to undergo vaccinations required to work withing the health sector.
- 3 x COVID Vax required.
- 2 Years' experience in similar position
- Security guard, Crowd control experience required
To be Successful in this Role, you will have:
- Successfully completed Certificate II Security Guard / Crowd Controller and hold, at minimum, a Victorian Security Guard (unarmed) category license
- Current knowledge of Victorian legislation relevant to your role as a Security Officer
- The ability to focus on customer service when dealing with staff, patients and visitors.
- A strong personal work ethic, initiative and service orientation
- Demonstrated skills in communicating effectively with people
- A willingness to work under the direction of nursing employees and Management
- Basic computer skills
Desirable:
- Healthcare Security experience
- Patient watch experience
- Patrol guarding experience
- Control Room experience
